Alaska

Hi everyone, just thought I'd let you know how my Alaskan adventure is going. All I can really say is that it's not what I expected. Princess was supposed to be one of the better company's to work for. All I can say is that's definitely not true anymore and there's no way I'm coming back once I'm done my contract. Needless to say I'm really wishing I was home. On the other hand Alaska is beautiful, I just wish I had more time to enjoy it.

I'm really looking forward to going home and getting to work on my jewellery again. My fingers are itching to play with silver and gold again. I also found a little store in Skagway that sells rough stone. I picked up a nice chunk of polish flint and I'm thinking of getting some "Northern Lights" Jasper so I can do some lapidary as well.

5 weeks of Alaska left. Here comes Hawaii!

Looks cool. I would need more information on the piece however I'm not in a position to accept commissions at the moment as I'm stuck on a ship! I'm working on a cruise ship until mid November so I can't work on any jewellery at the moment. If you're still interested though tell me a bit more about what you're looking for and I can either try directing you to someone I think could do it or I might be able to do it once I'm back home.
